Recommended! I’d call this the pinnacle of cyber stealth gameplay. Maxed-out hacking skills + stealth cyberware— I turned Arasaka Tower upside down without firing a single shot. Watching enemies get taken out by the robots I hacked? Pure bliss. A dream for detail fanatics—every alley in Night City hides an Easter egg, and even the lines from the street beggars have depth to them.

Recommended! The 2.0 update + Phantom Liberty DLC totally brought Night City back to life! I floored my Turbo V-666 and tore from Watson all the way to the Badlands. The roar of the engine mixed with the neon glow by the roadside—this is exactly what cyberpunk should feel like! Johnny Silverhand’s lines are still as snarky as they are charming, and I could replay Panam’s side quests a hundred times over! Only downside: it’s way too easy to get hooked and forget to eat.

Recommended (even if it took me 5 years to say it)! The PS4 launch version was so laggy I wanted to smash my controller. Now the PS5 version runs a solid 60 FPS, and with ray tracing on, the neon reflections in the rain are breathtaking. CDPR really spent five years turning a half-baked product into a masterpiece. This kind of post-launch support deserves all the sales! To all former disappointed players: come back and see—Night City has changed, but that same passion still burns bright.

Recommended! You guys have no idea! I picked the Star ending, watching V and Judy fly off into space, and I just lost it. Johnny going from mutual loathing to finally letting go and making sacrifices—this bond hits so hard. The Tower ending in Phantom Liberty is even more gut-wrenchingly realistic; Reed’s line “Idealists die young” just destroyed me. This isn’t a game—it’s a slice of life.

Mixed! It’s fun, no doubt about it. Wielding mantis blades and a smart rifle, slicing gangsters to bits—when I slow time with Sandevistan, I’m the god of Night City. But the flaws are hard to ignore: the driving physics still feel like steering a boat, and there are still occasional minor bugs. Still, flaws aside, getting to be a legend in Night City? Totally worth it.
