The voice acting in *Baldur’s Gate 3* can play continuously for 10 days, and players have extracted data to obtain more than 170,000 voice files.
Recently, some overseas players released a set of data extracted from the content of *Baldur’s Gate 3*. This data shows that the total duration of the dubbed dialogues in *Baldur’s Gate 3* reaches 236 hours, 55 minutes and 45 seconds, and it would take nearly 10 days to finish listening to them if played continuously.
The data finally extracted by the player shows that there are a total of 173,642 voice files in *Baldur’s Gate 3*, involving approximately 2,068 characters.
It is worth mentioning that after compiling statistics on the data, this player also counted the dubbing duration, number of lines, and voice actors for each character in the game.
Among the numerous character voice-over data, the one with the highest duration and ranking first is the game narration voice-over done by Amelia Taylor, with a total duration of 14 hours and 43 minutes. Ranking second is the voice-over of Astarion, one of the seven origin characters in the game, with a total duration of 13 hours and 6 minutes. In addition, the voice-over durations of characters such as Shadowheart, Gale, Lae’zel, and Karlach all exceed 10 hours.
In fact, even before this player extracted the voice acting data of *Baldur’s Gate 3*, the developer Larian Studios had already introduced the game’s text and voice acting data. At that time, Larian Studios mentioned that the script of *Baldur’s Gate 3* exceeded 2 million words, and the number of actors involved in the game’s voice acting and motion capture was more than 240, making it one of the largest-scale voice acting projects in the history of games.
